I’ve enjoyed rugby since school days (watching, not playing!) as you can’t avoid it growing up in the Scottish Borders. Through the years, I have supported Duns, Kelso and West Hartlepool before finding the Falcons. I’ve been a season ticket holder since 2003, travelling when I can, and thoroughly enjoying trips to Europe during the last 7 years. I’d like to see the Supporters Club flourish and look forward to working with members of the Supporters Club both new and existing, and the club.

Lynne Crowe – Secretary and Membership Secretary

I have been a season ticket holder at Kingston Park since the 2004, having attended a handful of games the previous season. Over the years not only have I attended home games but I have also been lucky enough to attend many away games, usually on the Supporters Club coach. Wherever possible I try to support our team home and away, including traveling to games in Europe.  This has taken me to destinations that I would NEVER have dreamt I would ever have visited. Some of those destinations have included L’aquila and Padova in Italy, Brive, Lyon and Toulon in France and Bucharest, Romania.  Newcastle Falcons has enabled me to meet some amazing people and make some lifelong friends. I have been on the Committee of the Supporters Club for the past year and my roles include those of Secretary and Membership Coordinator.

Colin Edge – Chair

I have been supporting Newcastle Falcons for longer than I would care to admit. My son is now four years old & already a keen Falcons supporter. He is now old enough to travel on the away buses, so after a few years mainly staying at home I am starting to enjoy more away games again, now with the whole family travelling with flags & fun. I have been lucky to serve on the committee of the Supporters Club for the past year & I have thoroughly enjoyed it. It is nice to be able to spend some time helping to make it work after many years enjoying the services that the club offers for away travel & social events. I am more than happy to spend another year helping out. It is not always easy to be a Falcons supporter. We have much further to travel than any other supporters in the Premiership, and the club has been through a few lean years with not much to reward the faithful, but still the supporters turn up to yell their best for the team, loud and proud. I honestly believe that Falcons supporters are the best by a country mile, and if I can do a little bit to help make their support of the club more enjoyable I most certainly will.
